-The recent lack of shows
drove me to see Paradise
Lost and Opeth at the House
of Blues last night. From a
distance, Nick Holmes looked
like Chris Martin of Coldplay,
and at this point, one could
sooner hear a more gloomy
song from Coldplay than from
these former leaders of the gothic-
doom metal scene. Opeth was
ultra-musicianly...too much so.
