Thanks: to Grey, first and foremost, for asking us to be a part of his amazing curatorial project. The basement was where it was at…thanks to Charlie Draheim, Shawn/Moribund, Grey/Hive Mind, and David/Luasa Raelon for the really excellent sets; to Marlene and Baby, for long-distance support and for videotaping (yes, it WILL be released); To Jonathan, for helping out with sound, and for the killer vocals – all under less than great circumstances – also for putting Xavier and I up in Philadelphia – taking us to the Motorhead show, and making sure that we got amazing Philly Cheese Steaks; to John, for persevering with similarly difficult vocal duties and for keeping the crowd on point during the entire set; to Chris/Sickness, for trying extremely hard to keep our sound going, and for wicked crowd interaction, as well; to everyone who supported us: Alex and Con from Coeur Noir, Julian, Lawrence, Roach, Connelly, Tara, Olson, Tovah, Nate, Mary from Kentucky; Dominick, Nick, Nicole, Andy, Shane and Alex from the Milwaukee crew, the whole Chondritic Crew; forgetting a million people, I know, I know; to everyone who we met for the first time – we appreciate that you checked us out and said “hi” – we have a ton of CDs to listen to, and we appreciate that so many people handed us their cool releases; thanks to everyone for tolerating the (crap) sound, or lack thereof. We did not get through all of the songs in our set list, but with all of the malfunctions, etc., it seemed best to wrap it up. Grey, there will definitely be another “Dazed” opportunity in the future…sorry. No thanks, fucking, whatsoever, to the Hook guy that shut us down a few songs into the set. Magick needs to swing free!

Moving on from No Fun, the rest of the trip was equally excellent. Thursday’s party for Marlene at Southside Lounge was a blast. Thanks to everyone who showed up. Thanks to Pieter for getting it set up. “Hello” to Unearthly Trance who totally killed at the Knitting Factory on Saturday night, along with Hidden Hand and Om. Big thanks to Veronica at East Village Radio [
http://www.eastvillageradio.com/] who graciously allowed us to hang out with her - on air - Sunday night, for playing BLOODYMINDED and Intrinsic Action tracks, and for the fun interview segments. Veronica’s tremendous sets of minimal-elektronik/minimal synth music should not be missed. Thanks to Pieter and Cheyney for letting me spin with them at Weird on Tuesday. Additional “hellos” to Shelley, Diako, Jutta, Glenn, Martial Canterel, Excepter folks, Jocko (please stay out of the Turkey's Nest), James and Alex (?) at Sound Fix on Bedford Avenue… Thanks to the staff at Peter Luger Steak House; M-A-J-O-R thanks to Blake for letting us crash at his Studio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Xavier, "thanks" for spending your vacation wallowing in filth and fun; Pieter - “thank you” for everything.

Finally – out now – in conjunction of our appearance on the Chondritic Sound stage at No Fun Fest:

3” CD-R, limited to 98 copies
Split release with Chondritic Sound

“Live document of my favorite band at my favorite venue, my loft! Synth/feedback attack complete with rowdy crowd action. In addition to BLOODYMINDED's usual assault you get to hear various Michigan maniacs shouting lyrics, knocking things over and breaking bottles in the background. Not to be missed!”

Please note that all of our copies appear to be spoken for. Contact Chondritic Sound if you wish to acquire a copy.
