Sub-20. Finally. There was no point in belaboring things last night. Shit sound, as expected, although the recording sounds really good. Just no PA power. But the audience kind of made up for that, screaming along to the four “Magnetism” songs like severely wounded animals. Thanks to Elle at the Big Horse, for taking care of the booking; thanks to Fuzzface ™ Wasco, for the return visit. He grows a beard faster than you can say… something. Oh, and thanks for bringing Rafeeq this time! Thanks to Rat Bastard, Leslie, and Valerie, for the instantly-intense and over-the top Squelch – where was Sasha? Thanks to the Gays for all the DVDs and magazines, and for the fine send-off for CPO Sinkhole. Thanks to Panicsville, for kicking things of with the totally unexpected and rocking psych jam!?! And thanks to Jocko, for coming all the way from the East Coast. Check out his Elk event at Alogon on Saturday, if you can. The music on the CD that goes with his new publication is by George Draguns (ex-Don Caballero) [Alogon Gallery - 1049 N. Paulina – Apt. 3R – Chicago, IL 60622 - enter on Cortez St.)]
