Train Kept A Rollin'...

Fun show last night at the Empty Bottle. My home for the week. Locrian brought Mr. Steven Hess on board with them again for what was one of the most tense Locrian sets ever. Terence was in a different mode last night... less aggro than in Minneapolis, but louder and harsher howls came from deep within him - much earlier than usual - and they were more isolated/prominent. The smoke billowed so thickly and Steven came in so much later that I sort of forgot that he was up there... until the steamroller came in, that is. Excellent! It was great to see Hair Police back at the Empty Bottle so soon, and for our efforts, they played a much different set than their recent frantic performance... not that this one was any less captivating... just different. S/M Robert was in full-effect again. Outstanding! Also cool to "put a face" to Cold Cave, who drew in an appreciative crowd with their catchy synth-pop... And for the noise crowd, Dominick had an extended heavy synth segue, which added a bit of grit to their catchy set.
