BloodLust! 035 Deathpile "Abominations" 7"
BLOODYMINDED "Gift Givers"
Although we were not able to go into the recording studio
with Xavier Laradji while he was visiting the USA, his vocal
contribution to the forthcoming "Gift Givers" compact disc
should be completed this weekend, in Paris. Amadou Sall,
from the great industrial band Collapse (and formerly of the
legendary Treponem Pal), will generously be assisting with
the engineering and recording. Amadou will also contribute
a musical element to "Gift Givers." Additional "special guest"
announcements are imminent...
Intrinsic Action "Five"
The basic mastering is now complete for next Intrinsic Action
archival release, "Five" (BloodLust! 048 / Vestige CD 6). The
existing tracks have been re-mastered from the best possible
analog cassette source, and the previously unreleased bonus
material has been edited and mastered from an additional
archival tape from the same time period. A final master will be
ready by late next week. Pre-production of the artwork has
begun, and a projected release date will be announced soon.
BLOODYMINDED Live
Two late-July BLOODYMINDED shows in Chicago are in the
works. Dates will be announced in the next update. We have
also kindly been asked to play at the one-year anniversary of
Dogs Blood Rising (http://dogsbloodrising.org/) in Brooklyn,
on Saturday August 28th. We might be interested in setting
up shows along the way (e.g. Detroit, Cleveland/Columbus,
Pittsburgh/Philadelphia, Baltimore, etc.), or in upstate New York
or in New England. Any further suggestions - for cities, venues,
and support bands - would be greatly appreciated. "Thank you"
to those of you who responded to our previous request.
And, once again, if you have any audio or video recordings of
our March shows in Brooklyn, Providence, and Boston, we
would appreciate receiving copies for our archives. In particular,
we are seeking an audio recording of our Brooklyn show, as our
ancient DAT recorder shut down half way through the show.
