BLOODYMINDED DETROIT TOUR 2004

Thanks:
Mike Connelly and John Olson - for initially thinking about getting us up there, and then getting us the hell up there;
Grey and Chuck D. - for their Eastern Market-style hospitality, and for their excellent Saturday Night Electro-Fevers - Grey, "Dazed" was intense! Thanks for making the Green (and Black) Door session happen, Aaron Dilloway - for gracing us with his smooth crowd surfing techniques; Nate - for the tuff solo-destroyer jams; Tovah - for the elegant stairwell "Say It" electronics; Tara C. - for the totally amazing food on Friday night...truffles always win my heart; Ryan - for introducing us to another dark chapter of deepest Rotlore; Sandor - for the gut-punch Andor-vocal style; David Reed - for driving through the night like a madman - it was good to see you again; The Two-Night Crew, including The Roach (who fucking told Entrails to stop!), Mary from Kentucky, and everyone else who we met - or did not meet - but who suffered through both of our sets.

BLOODYMINDED:
Ed Knigge - Synth + Vocals
Chris Mack - Synth

Encore 2: "CHINATOWN"

BLOODYMINDED in office hallway mode. The first ever BLOODYMINDED performance of "Shock Pit." We never stood a chance against the crowd. Casualties included Olson's lip, Grey's glasses, one Roland MC-202 (Grey, thanks for the repair work!), one microphone (totally destroyed) - lots of purple bruises and swelling - a total shambling mess of a set - we only got part of the way into "Chinatown" before everything cut out for good.

Encore: “1%” (Intrinsic Action)

BLOODYMINDED in battered, lower-energy loft kitchen mode. The first ever BLOODYMINDED performances of "29 Below" and "1%." Less of a spectacle, but a much better sounding set - complete with unrelenting ten-feet-in-front-of-the-speakers-feedback. At one point, I looked back and I saw Chris on top of the stove, and Ed committing mock-suicide with his head in the oven - always work your surroundings. "Trophy" was dedicated to the Mutant Moments Crew: Grey, Jonathan Canady, Marco Corbelli, Dominick Fernow, and Doodle-Bug.
