- Additional members with frequent scheduling conflicts
You:
- Fit well with our image
- Possess a good sense of humor
- Easy to get along with
- No drugs or constant heavy drinking
- Comfortable with our subject matter
- Relatively flexible schedule
We currently do not play live with great regularity, but we would like to perform more often, if our line-up permits us to do so. Two to three times a year, we play anywhere from two to five shows out of town, typically over a long weekend. Our shows can be pretty physical, and on a good night, we interact quite a bit with the crowd. We do not practice on a regular basis, but new members would need to spend some time acquainting themselves with our relatively simple equipment set-up. As of late May, our new “rehearsal space” will be in Garfield Park, two blocks away from the Conservatory stop on the CTA Green Line.
