This one is going to be brief, as far too much happened over a span of four days to get into too deeply… Awesome weekend! This was a really cool combination of bands to play with. I share the sentiment that I wish that it could have kept going. Everyone was so cool to travel with. Thanks to Connelly and Olson, for dragging us into this weekend jaunt in the first place; thanks to Grey, for filling in on low-end synth, and for his rough vocals on “Dazed” each night; thanks to Robert, Trevor, Kathy, Shane, Zac, Ben, Hans, and Spencer, for the great support each night and for making the weekend go so smoothly; thanks to Peter Toalson at the Empty Bottle, for booking the Chicago show, along with Allison and Rob for medical assistance and drinks and lights, and Tony for the pummeling sound; thanks to Michael and Lindsay in St. Louis for the amazing show; thanks to Chris in St. Louis, for the amazing mansion hospitality, including a roaring fire and delicious crepes; thanks to Jeremy (Ghost Ice), for the support and assistance and for the creepy basement doom; thanks to D. at Underlying Themes, for the great show and for getting the PA right back up after we blew it out; thanks to Slim, for brutal vocals in Lexington; thanks to everyone at Paradise City; thanks to Mary from Kentucky, for letting us crash at her place on Saturday night. Thanks to Charlie, for bringing Grey down, and just for being Charlie; Thanks to everyone who handed me a record, a CD, or a cassette. I have been swamped this week, but I am trying to listen to everything ASAP. The stack was huge! Thanks to everyone who drove to get to one of these events… from Champaign, from Peoria, from Kansas City, from Cincinnati… holy shit, it was amazing that so many people traveled to get out to see these shows! Thanks to all of our friends who came out to see us on Thursday; thanks to Jessica, for the delicious cake; thanks to Marlene, for videotaping. Oh, and if you did not already know, Lambsbread RULES completely! We will see you guys in Columbus on March 13th. I cannot wait! That night will be a killer, for sure...
