In London

James and I are in London. We hung out for most of the day yesterday with Jeffrey (Jinx), doing touristy stuff... We had a great run through The Tate, which has a special Turner Prize retrospective up right now... "Mother and Daughter... Divided" - etc... So great to see all of the Francis Bacon paintings, the Blake's, the Pre-Raphaelites, etc. We walked around Westminster... Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, etc. I dove into some black pudding, right away, for my first breakfast. We had amazing food at a Southern Indian and Sri Lankan place, last night, with our host Tim Aher, who is studying in London. Some guys at the restaurant heard our accents and started buying us certain favorite dishes (great Masala Dosa) and offering us whiskey, on the sly. Excellent spicy stuff! We are staying way out by Manor Park (a hike from the East Ham tube stop). Fun night... but an early one, too. We just pretty much crashed from being awake so long and walking so much during the day.

Off to see Slogun tonight...

We may have an extra thing happening on Sunday, in Blythe, with the Inseminois and Fecalove folks... if we can sort out an easy way to get there from Edinburgh.

Still no luck for a last-minute show on Friday the 30th though...
