Autumn is looking good. After I get back from my solo tour with Envenomist in early- to mid-October, there are a lot of great Chicago shows in the pipeline that I am working on:
Friday October 19: Suffering Bastard / Twodeadsluts Onegoodfuck at Mr. City
Saturday October 27: Air Conditioning / Mammal / Cadaver In Drag / Paranoid Time at The Flowershop
Friday November 2: Burning Star Core / John Wiese at TBA
Wednesday November 7: Demons at Enemy
I will be performing - in some capacity/configuration - at these shows, too...
I am trying to keep a detailed calendar going on the BLOODYMINDED MySpace page:

Permanent / Vacated
Aside from the anniversary party for Permanent Records on Friday night, I also attended an in-store show on Saturday, featuring three local acts. It was a fun evening of diverse, quality noise, featuring Hysterectomy (Brett Naucke from Druids of Huge), Death Factory, and Plastic Boner Band, and it was nice to hang out with friends there.
Later that night I went to Reversible Eye to see the final Chicago show of Electric Set, who have been a favorite band of mine, this summer. Best wishes to Brandon with his move...

Last Night + Mammal
I saw a great show last night, at Co-Prosperity Sphere, for the one-year anniversary of the nice folks at Permanent Records. It was totally great to see Tirra Lirra play again - the were excellent - and they were quite nicely matched up with These Are Powers, who I also really enjoyed. I also finally saw Warhammer 48K, who were a bit different than what I expected live... a bit more driving stoner style... All in all, a very good night.
For those who have not checked the catalog page, here are the details on the Mammal pre-order. Thanks to everyone who already placed an order!
