I just got back from the Post Office and Luigi's Pizza. All paid mail-order, Discogs, and eBay orders are caught up.
I made it to the Empty Bottle a bit late last night, and I missed Black Wyrm Seed, who I was curious about. I walked in just as Gutbucket went on but their prog-sax skronk just was not my cup of tea. Hollows were cute... aspects of Lost Sounds, The Vanishing, Subtonix, X-Ray Spex -- but with an extra-heavy dollop of girl-group pop. Appropriate music for the day of Phil Spector's conviction, I suppose, but a bit too bubblegum sweet for me.
