From the MPShows website:

THE FORTIETH DAY + NOISE CRUSH
The Fortieth Day is the duo of Isidro Reyes and Mark Solotroff, both key players in the power-electronics outfit BLOODYMINDED, a local unit known for its confrontational live shows. Here, Solotroff and Reyes show off their kinder, gentler side, using guitar, bass, and synth to improvise "sustained, withering blasts of high-pitched noise that are as distinct from one another as spotlights sweeping across the night sky; jackhammer clatter, jet-engine whines, and forlorn keyboard melodies dart in and out of those huge sounds with the grace and impunity of plovers picking a crocodile's teeth" (Bill Meyer, Chicago Reader). As with all of their live appearances, thus far, Reyes and Solotroff will be joined by Lisa Slodki - working under her Noise Crush moniker - who will create a live video mix comprised of loops of semi - or barely recognizable, yet compelling, granular black and white images.

BAD PARTY
The confrontational Detroit duo Bad Party features ex-White Devil and Tamion 12 Inch members. This is stripped down and aggressive industrial rock with a punk edge that carries the minimalism of early Suicide and Big Black.

WEIRDING MODULE
Dub band Weirding Module consists of Michael from Awesome Color. Repetitions within the music make it steer toward that of a Jam Band.

SOUNDS HAPPY + WILLIAM SIDES
"I learned the art of Circuit Bending from The Rubber Monkey Puppet Company and became a member of The Guild Of Acquired Technology shortly after. The Guild has disbanded since, but the artists continue on. I am Sounds Happy. I take toys and rewire them into allophonic noise instruments.'

ENVIRONMENTAL SOUND COLLAPSE
Environmental Sound Collapse has been around since 2001, playing shows more often now....live shows usually with video accompaniment.
