Metal and Ale

After sampling the tasty mussels and frites at The Bluebird, not to mention exotic Belgian beverages, I made it over to the Empty Bottle to see (Lone) Wolf & Cub, Empires, and Lungs, for a good dose of blistering hardcore-metal, near-gothic doom, and sort of shoegazer-metal. A pretty great line-up that helped me feel better about not joining Isidro at Judas Priest and Motorhead, last night.
