Damn... Sourvein was stranded in Iowa, or something to that effect... Still, Blackbeard from Joliet had a solid presence as openers, with a Sleep meets Eyehategod thing going on, and Lord Green from even further away - the Quad Cities (Which one? I do not know) - kept the Sleep thing going, a bit, with some heavy D-Beat action added... so probably something in the neighborhood of earlier Corrosion of Conformity. Isidro and I had to bail before Slow Horse got started. Really bummed to have missed Sourvein, but glad to have seen two cool bands at a new spot and to have had a free mystery meat sandwich with an intriguing orange Polish sandwich spread...
