Thanks to everyone who came out to support the Anatomy of Habit show on Thursday night. As anticipated, the turnout was more modest than the last couple of shows, this one being on a chilly night and not being a free show, but it was great to see so many friends there! For those who did not make it, we showed a slightly different side of what has been our ongoing set, airing some of the newer ideas that have been going into the recording process. We flipped around "Torch" and "Overcome" and we took an even more brooding, atmospheric approach, allowing the "metal" parts to shine through even more. There were some really interesting results that are more apparent in the recording of the show, which came out nicely.
Thanks to Dan and everyone in Arriver, for asking us to play! It was cool to have Decapitado join in, too, even if we had a microphone conflict (ha!), particularly as Die Kreuzen and Boy Dirt Car were both favorites of mine in the 1980s. And thanks to everyone at the Empty Bottle for having us back, yet again!
And my excellent reward for the night, courtesy of Ms. Nicole B.:
