In the midst of a flurry of activity with BLOODYMINDED, Isidro and I have been discussing various plans for the next phase of The Fortieth Day, including new recordings and performances. Lisa (Noise Crush) has just entered her busy summer period, so shows may not happen for a little while. In the meantime, we are preparing additional archival recordings for release on CD, including our collaborative live/studio cassette with Sshe Retina Stimulants (B!075), the "Pelusium: 540 AD" cassette (Cipher Productions), and the complete 60-minute+ version of the "Syria: 638 AD" LP, which was abridged and re-mastered for vinyl. We just received a newly mastered version of "Syria" from engineer Salvatore Dellaria, and after a few plays, we are really pleased with the sound of this heavy-drone, possibly even harsh noise walls recording...
