BloodLust! July 22, 2019 Update

Ugh... That long gap in time was definitely not planned, but I guess it's been a nose-to-the-grindstone period... I've remained disciplined and I've remastered 15 Super Eight Loop recordings since the last update - and I'm about to hit the halfway mark of this digitization process. Isidro and I have been busy with a number of The Fortieth Day releases, the first two of which are coming up soon. Anatomy of Habit has two shows coming up with L.A. post-punk pioneers, Savage Republic, as well as additional bookings later in the year. I thought I'd be able to announce the next BLOODYMINDED show by now, but I have to hold off for a little while longer. I believe that it'll be worth the wait...

THE FORTIETH DAY
The Fortieth Day is the duo of Isidro Reyes and Mark Solotroff, both key players in the heavy-electronics outfit BLOODYMINDED, a band known for its aggressive and confrontational live shows. In The Fortieth Day, Reyes and Solotroff utilize guitar, bass, drum machine, and analog synthesizer to create epic, blackened, psychedelic-industrial drone soundscapes.

Two new releases are in the works, including one brand new recording. We've also submitted a new recording to Sergio Sanchez at Ruido Horrible in Mexico City, which he will release on cassette, later this year.
