It's a gloomy Saturday morning in Chicago and I'm wide awake after a couple of double-espressos made with beans from Dark Arts Coffee in London (Thanks, Jamie!). Let's go... I've completed five new Super Eight Loop remasters since the last update and I've been keeping busy with booking activity. We've received some great feedback on the new BLOODYMINDED single, specific to how we interpreted the songs from the new album in a live setting. Thanks to everyone who has supported the single and who has been in contact about it. We've seen another spike in orders for "Trophy," which has been great, along with other older albums of ours. "Trophy" will be 25 years old, next year, so I've been thinking about ways to "celebrate." Over the past week, I've added a bunch of things to my Discogs store and I'm continuing to dig through boxes,in an attempt to thin out and reorganize my label storage space, which also became an overflow for music from home.

ANATOMY OF HABIT
Anatomy of Habit formed in Chicago in October 2008 and is composed of Alex Latus (guitar), Isidro Reyes (metal percussion), Skyler Rowe (drums), Mark Solotroff (vocals), and Sam Wagster (bass + lap steel). The band encompasses elements of doom metal, post-punk, death-rock, noise-rock, industrial, psychedelic, and shoegaze. The band's last album, "Ciphers + Axioms," was released by Relapse Records.

BLOODYMINDED
BLOODYMINDED is a heavy electronic band that was formed in New York, in 1995, after the dissolution of the pioneering American post-industrial noise group Intrinsic Action, which was founded by Mark Solotroff, in Chicago, in 1984. BLOODYMINDED’s live shows are exceptionally energetic and are characterized by physical engagement, layers of abrasive analog synthesizer, aggressive vocals, and abundant feedback. In a live context, BLOODYMINDED celebrate and deconstruct the rock and roll performance.

THE FORTIETH DAY
The Fortieth Day is the duo of Isidro Reyes and Mark Solotroff, both key players in the heavy-electronics outfit BLOODYMINDED, a band known for its aggressive and confrontational live shows. In The Fortieth Day, Reyes and Solotroff utilize guitar, bass, drum machine, and analog synthesizer to create epic, blackened, psychedelic-industrial drone soundscapes.
